Mary Potter Kenyon was a 52-year old stay-at-home mom with 4 of her 8 children still at home when her husband of 30+ years unexpectedly passed away, just 17 months after her mother passed away. While navigating through her grief, she learned that one of her grandsons had cancer. Mary developed a number of strategies for coping with extreme loss, and in the process started writing books (available here) and hosting support groups to help others with their losses.
